2. There was a camp for children in Pahiatua called little Poland.
3. An estimated 1.7 Million Polish people were deported to Serbian camps.
4. Over 800 Polish refuges went to Wellition to seek safety.
5. In 1943 the Prime Minister of New Zeland invited some Polish kids to stay during the war.
6. Maria Wodzicka who is also a Polish immigrant help the other Polish kids settle in.
